I charge €0.05 (5 euro cent) per word for academic proofreading and editing.

Orders over 50,000 words receive a 20% discount and orders over 80,000 words receive a 40% discount.

This means that a 60,000-word piece receives a discount of €600 and costs only €2,400 (instead of the original €3,000). An 85,000-word PhD dissertation gets a discount of €1,700 and costs only €2,550 (instead of the original €4,250).

If you are a private person in the EU, I have to add 23% VAT, so the price per word is €0.05 + 23% VAT = €0.0615. The same discounts apply, so for a 60,000-word piece, the cost would be €2,952 and for an 85,000-word piece, the cost would be €3,136.50. If your university pays, there is no VAT.
